At Mermaid Translations, we use the latest generation of translation environment tools (Déjà Vu X, Trados Studio 2009) to ensure quality and consistency in translation and to build translation memories and terminology databases. These tools also make it possible for us to work in otherwise challenging formats, such as InDesign, FrameMaker, any XML format, and the various software development formats.
For software and website localization projects we also use specifically designed tools such as Alchemy Catalyst and SDL Passolo. These tools provide us with linguistic tools and also allow us to test the functionality of the translated products.
